Dixville Notch, NH (AHN) - The town of Dixville Notch, New Hampshire, with a population of around 75 people and only 21 registered voters, has picked Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL) to be the next president of the United States. Obama defeated Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) by a margin of 15 votes to 6.

a sample of 21 people have returned data that shows Obama beat McCain 76% to 24% (with a 22% MOE if applied to the entire election.)
In the extreme of that range is Obama 54 to McCain 46%--an outcome similar to the final polls.
Statistics are kind of cool.

Yes,but Dixville Notch is hardly representitive of the US population.I was there a number of years ago...real quaint,very white(100%),and very much "Old Yankee".
They always report first as they vote right after midnight.Cool village.
