Wow, that was easy. No line @ 10:00 AM in Arlington, Virginia. Took me less than 15 minutes to vote.
Voted Obama/Biden (D), Gilmore (R) and Fisher (IG). Voted yes for all County improvements/bonds with the exception of schools.

Short lines in Blacksburg at 10:00 something I have never seen at that precinct (usually you can walk in and go straight to the booth). Workers said the lines were very long earlier. Very conserative area but more younger voters mixed in with the usual blue hairs.

I have a co-worker, retired as a Lt. colonel after 22 years in the US Army, lives in Northern Virginia, just poked his head in my office and said he's heading back across the river to go vote for Obama.

I think Zero is the only person outside of Gilmore's immediate family who will be voting for him in this race.

Mark Warner wins a senate seat that has been held by republicans for decades. Great, Virginia now has two democratic senators, a democratic governor and soon (hopefully) will go blue in the presidential race.

I did my part in Virginia. My brother did his part in North Carolina. Two well-deserved victories.
Obama drew 90,000 in Manassas the day before the election, and I missed it entirely...
